Supermicro is seeking System Test Engineers to perform complete server configuration checks, performance tests, and packing checks for their advanced server, storage, and networking solutions.
Requirements
- familiar with Linus OS for server, switch, add on card test
- Familiar with Linux shell script programing
- familiar with server hardware datasheet (GPU, AOC, NIC, CPU, DIMM, HDD…)
- make judgment on testing result
- Strong troubleshooting skills at Linux server system testing and debugging
- Skill on Shell Scripts, Python programming and Network (Ethernet/Infiniband) is a plus
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and able to generate test report
Responsibilities
- Perform Testing for production, warehouse, rack integration and server sample systems
- Review and analyze failure logs, and follow up with related personnel
- Work with cross-functional teams for system testing and assist in product development
- Generate test report and record the complete test process, configuration, findings and results
- Occasional on-site installation/testing

- BSCS/BSCE or MSCS/MSCE with 2 years of working experience in hardware testing is preferred
