Kratos Defense is looking to solve the problem of test validation and verification for products and contained systems, including mechanical, electrical/electronics, and software elements.
Requirements
- Understanding of vehicle powertrain architectures and components
- Experience with debugging tools to analyze test failures and find root causes
- Understands data acquisition software test fundaments and methodologies
- Prior experience in an Electrical or Mechanical engineering role
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards
- Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
- Exposure or experience in ISO 9000 or ISO 9001 Quality Management System
Responsibilities
- debugs moderately complex products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products
- Contributes to the development and implementation of a suitable verification and validation strategy at the defined integration levels based on given standards
- Identify production defects and test deficiencies, report issues in standard format, and track through correction
- Ability to perform data acquisition tasks, logging files, analyze data and create documents to compare with theoretical analysis
- Perform measurements and provide the data to the project test team lead
- Understands data acquisition software test fundaments and methodologies
- Experience with debugging tools to analyze test failures and find root causes
Other
- 4-year college/university education in technical field (prefer Electrical), or equivalent experience required
- 2+years related experience
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
