Allegro is looking for a Product and Test Engineer to support new mixed signal products in their Magnetic Sensor or Power IC portfolio. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing test and characterization solutions, acting as the central test resource throughout the product development cycle and into high volume production.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of analog/digital circuit design
- Knowledge of lab equipment
- Experience of software development, ideally C/C++
Responsibilities
- Design of new methods to establish product performance and ensure testability
- Definition of test and validation plan to reach the target test coverage and test time
- Development, debugging and documenting complex test software and hardware for Automated Test Equipment
- Participation in new design troubleshooting and providing recommendations to the rest of the team
- Analysis of test and characterization data, including statistical analysis
- Test program optimization and robustness studies
- Knowledge transfer to manufacturing engineering
