CACI is looking for a Junior Manual Test Engineer with agile methodology experience to support the BEAGLE (Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology) Agile Solution Factory (ASF) Team, which supports the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) client. The role aims to assist in the delivery of customer-defined systems and software projects by performing various testing activities within an agile environment.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation is a plus.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is desirable but not required.
- Assist in running test validations at various levels, including DB validation, logging validation, and UI validation, under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating test procedures for the current backlog items under the guidance of senior team members.
- Help define tests for backlog items and support the estimation of tasks needed for creating manual tests.
- Support the development and implementation of quality assurance methodologies to ensure compliance with QA standards and procedures.
- Assist in developing and executing software test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Integration, Migration, Regression, and Performance testing.
- Help identify system and software problems, record defect backlog items, and report testing results under supervision.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of a process for evaluating hardware, software, and associated documentation.
- Assist in mapping tasks and tests to backlog items to ensure requirements traceability.
