Raytheon is seeking a Field Test Engineer to support operation and maintenance activities of RF sensor system and Coyote UAS weapon platform, to help the nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression.
Requirements
Experience in the repair of military sensor or radar systems.
Experience in the repair of military UAS systems.
Experience in the military working with Depot Support maintenance on electronics or radar.
Experience with the tools and test equipment commonly used in electronic installation, maintenance, and test.
Experience with Coyote/Ku Radar/M-LIDS.
Graduate of US military sensor or radar technical school.
Experience with military generators.
Responsibilities
Perform radar or coyote assembly, overhaul, repair, modification, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Assist in planning, perform data analysis, and support system integration and testing.
Receive technical guidance and tasking, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, and work is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices.
Other
Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Associate’s and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Must be able to move and/or lift weights such as test equipment, ladders, tools, and cable reels weighing up to 49 pounds using proper lifting techniques or material moving equipment.
Must possess excellent technical writing, oral communication, and negotiation skills.
