Leidos is seeking a Test Engineer to support critical cloud transformation efforts for the United States Coast Guard at C5ISC, focusing on migrating and modernizing legacy mission-critical systems into the Coast Guard's Mission Cloud.
Requirements
- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and Prometheus.
- Knowledge of networking concepts including VPC, subnets, load balancers, and DNS.
- Proficient in major cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of cloud services architecture, networking, storage, and compute resources.
- Experienced in cloud-native testing approaches and distributed systems testing.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, and Ansible.
- Capable of writing, reviewing, and testing infrastructure code.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of cloud migrations and services through a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
- Play a crucial part in developing Infrastructure as Code, streamlining testing, reducing defects, and accelerating cloud migration processes.
- Participate in program Agile initiatives to support innovation and enhancement of infrastructure automation and maintenance through iteration/functionality testing within a cloud environment.
- Collaborate with team members (Scrum Master, Cloud Engineer, DevSecOps) to develop test approaches with emphasis on automation of recurring/regression test cases through selected toolsets
- Leverage DevOps practices to ensure repeatability and Configuration Management of test cases/scripts are maintained and continuously improved
- Develop and document end-to-end functionality test case narratives using task management system (JIRA/Confluence) and support performance testing/evaluation activities.

- Requires BS and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Familiar with version control for infrastructure and GitOps practices.
- Knowledgeable in automated testing frameworks and tools, including Selenium, pytest, and Jest.
