Requirements
- Proficiency in programming languages (such as C, C++, Python)
- Knowledge of hardware and electronic circuits
- Experience with CAD software for designing test fixtures
- LabVIEW Programming (preferred)
- Experience working with test equipment (hardware and software)
- Strong analytical skills to identify and solve issues quickly
- Meticulous approach to ensure all aspects of testing are thoroughly covered
Responsibilities
- Design and development of test equipment and fixtures tailored to specific products
- Development of testing protocols and procedures to ensure comprehensive evaluation of product performance
- Collaboration with design engineers to understand product specifications and testing requirements
- Writing, maintaining, and improving test software for various test systems
- Conducting tests to validate the performance and functionality of products
- Analyzing test data to identify defects or areas for improvement
- Providing guidance for regular maintenance and calibration of test equipment
Other
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
- Ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively
- 2+ years' experience working with test equipment (hardware and software)
- 5+ years' experience in a test engineer role (preferred)
