The business problem is to ensure that software developed for the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) is intuitive, runs smoothly, and is reliable and functional, thereby improving user experience and protecting the nation's critical infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experience with testing software modules and software packages
- Knowledge of regression and functional testing
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle
- Experience in Ranorex or other automated testing tools
- Knowledge of basic scripting, including in Python or JavaScript
- Security+ Certification
Responsibilities
- Work with developer and testers to evaluate software developed for the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS).
- Create a test plan with test cases based on user stories.
- Generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs.
- Document the results and communicate defects to the development team.
- Automate continuous security and performance testing.
- Monitor the health of the weapon system.
- Write the code to test.

- TS/SCI clearance is required.

- Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of experience with software development or testing, or 6+ years of experience with software development or testing in lieu of a degree
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
