The business problem is to ensure the functionality, reliability, and user experience of software developed for the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) through rigorous testing, enabling the team to release the best software possible.

Requirements

  • Experience with testing software modules and software packages
  • Knowledge of regression and functional testing
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Experience in Ranorex or other automated testing tools
  • Knowledge of basic scripting, including in Python or JavaScript
  • Security+ Certification

Responsibilities

  • Work with developer and testers to evaluate software developed for the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS).
  • Work on creating a test plan with test cases based on user stories.
  • Using automation to streamline activities, you’ll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool.
  • Automate continuous security and performance testing
  • Monitor the health of the system.
  • Leverage your skills by writing the code to test.
  • Further your experience in large scale systems and explore new areas like cloud computing.

Other

  • TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of experience with software development or testing, or 6+ years of experience with software development or testing in lieu of a degree
