Summit TRC is seeking a highly motivated Test Engineer to join our team. This role will help maintain and test products supporting military UAS platforms.
Requirements
- Experience working with Windows and Linux Operating Systems and executing commands in the CLI
- Understanding of virtualization tools and hypervisors
- Understanding of various scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- Hands-on experience testing software is preferred
- Knowledge of containerization tools is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform system-level integration and testing of components of complex drone platforms
- Perform levels of software testing and code scanning to ensure quality and reliability across the software lifecycle
- Use Linux command line extensively for testing, automation, and data handling
- Collaborate with other Software and Systems Engineers to troubleshoot issues and ensure continuity of support and development
- Optimize system performance and security
- Maintain excellent technical documentation hygiene
- Maintain cybersecurity best practices

- Must be a US Citizen possessing a Secret or higher security clearance
- This role will be performed onsite in Huntsville, AL.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Ability to work with external customers or stakeholders in a clear and professional manner
