Qorvo is looking to solve complex technical challenges in the semiconductor industry by supplying innovative solutions, and the Test Engineering Intern will contribute to this goal by working on challenging, skill-building assignments.
Requirements
- Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Visual Basic, C-Sharp, or other object-oriented language
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with automated test software and measurement automation
- Familiarity with test equipment like DC source/measure units, oscilloscopes, and spectrum and network analyzers
- Experience with scripting tools and automation
Responsibilities
- Creating automated test software to control test equipment and execute test plans
- Developing measurement automation using Visual Basic, C-Sharp and/or Python along with custom tools
- Measuring product using test equipment like DC source/measure units, oscilloscopes, and spectrum and network analyzers
- Processing, verifying, and analyzing the measured data; producing clear and concise presentations and reports
- Assisting test teams with troubleshooting and resolution of test equipment or product issues.
- Process or throughput improvements with the use of automation or scripting tools.
Other
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Self-Starter with good communication skills
- Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling
