Emerson is looking for an Engineering student to design and implement software test systems to verify and validate safety-critical measurement & analytical instrumentation that integrates with industrial automation equipment.

Responsibilities
- Work with a team to design and implement automated tests and test infrastructure.
- Participate in reviews of product requirements, test designs, and implementations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to help solve engineering challenges.
- Provide analysis for change requests considering the impact to product testing and schedule
- Support manufacturing of test systems by working with global manufacturing, solving issues, and deploying/maintaining test stations
- Create hardware that is robust with simple and functional user interfaces
- Develop & maintain supporting documentation (service manual, troubleshooting guide, etc.)

- Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at a Twin Cities location (Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie, MN)
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- Prior internship experience
