Emerson is looking for a Test Engineering Intern to design and implement software test systems to verify and validate world-class safety-critical measurement & analytical instrumentation that integrates with industrial automation equipment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar STEM
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person for the duration of the internship.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. No sponsorship will be provided.

Responsibilities
- Work with a team to design and implement automated tests and test infrastructure.
- Participate in reviews of product requirements, test designs, and implementations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to help solve engineering challenges.
- Provide analysis for change requests considering the impact to product testing and schedule
- Support manufacturing of test systems by working with global manufacturing, solving issues, and deploying/maintaining test stations
- Create hardware that is robust with simple and functional user interfaces
- Develop & maintain supporting documentation (service manual, troubleshooting guide, etc.)
