The Maritime Solution Systems Portfolio (MSS) within Leidos' Maritime Systems Division is seeking a Test Engineering Manager to lead a test engineering team in support of maritime products, including underwater vehicle systems, maritime sensors, and data acquisition systems for complex maritime applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science and/or master’s degree in engineering, from an accredited college
- 10+ years of engineering experience in subsea maritime programs that include software and electro-mechanical systems
- 3+ years of experience in operation or testing of UUV systems
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance, requires US Citizenship
- 10+ years of experience leading the design, development, and integration subsea maritime systems
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015
- Experienced with UUVs, payloads, and deployed subsea systems
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership for the test engineering team across a portfolio of products
- Lead technical thought on product validation
- Ensure design for testability focus throughout design development
- Provide input into system design, derivation and development of subsystem requirements
- Provide technical mentorship and subject matter expertise to the electrical engineering team
- Supervisor and provide tasking for the test engineering team in coordination with the program managers to meet program requirements, schedule and cost
- Active participation in the Business Capture Process to include writing, designing, and reviewing proposal material
