Virtusa is looking to solve the problem of ensuring quality and reliability in their software and device offerings by building and scaling automation frameworks, championing CI/CD pipelines, and establishing robust test metrics. They also aim to improve defect resolution and provide transparency through governance dashboards, while aligning QA priorities with the product roadmap and representing QA in customer-facing reviews.
Requirements
- Python, Selenium, Robot Framework, or Playwright

Responsibilities
- Build and scale automation frameworks for regression, performance, and integration testing Python, Selenium, Robot Framework, or Playwright
- Champion CI CD-integrated QA pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Google Cloud Build.
- Ensure automation coverage across functional, API, and end to end E2E layers.
- Establish and track test metrics: defect density, test effectiveness, MTTD or MTTR, and release quality.
- Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement for field and post-release defects.
- Implement governance dashboards using Looker Studio or Big Query for transparency and decision support.
- Partner closely with Product, Dev, Ops, and Customer Engineering teams to align QA priorities with product roadmap.

- Lead and mentor a team of manual, automation, and performance engineers across geographies
- Represent QA in customer-facing reviews, program governance, and sprint demos.
- Ensure clear, consistent communication across leadership, highlighting risks, mitigation, and value delivered.
- Master degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in software or device QA, including 3 years in a people management role.
- Proven experience in telecom, broadband, or IoT device validation is preferred.
- Strong background in network testing, automation, and service assurance frameworks.
