Qualitest is looking for an Automation Test Lead to drive automation initiatives from the ground up and mentor the QA team.

- Proven experience standing up automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong hands-on experience with API automation testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, Playwright).
- Proficiency in programming/scripting with Python and/or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience with complex data validation.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratch using modern tools and best practices.
- Create and maintain automated tests for REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Develop and manage comprehensive API test collections in Postman, including automated execution and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate backend data integrity, transformations, and reporting accuracy.
- Contribute to the overall test strategy, including test planning, design, execution, and reporting.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality and fast feedback.
- Perform manual testing when automation is not applicable, ensuring complete coverage across functional areas.

- The salary range for the role is $120,000 - $130,000.
