BAE Systems is looking to develop the Next Generation Electronic Warfare Systems Products and Solutions to protect those that protect us, and is seeking a Principle Software Test Solutions Engineer to design and develop test solutions and write test software that is mission critical.
Requirements
- Proficient in National Instruments Test Stand
- Automated test design for a production environment
- Proficiency in Object-oriented programming (C/C++/C-Sharp etc.)
- Experience with RF Measurement techniques
- Experience with RF test development for production, employing RF Test instrumentation (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generators, PNA-X etc.)
- Experience with SW version control and bug tracking tools
- Experience with National Instruments FlexRIO (LabVIEW FPGA/VHDL/Verilog a plus)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop test solutions and write test software that is mission critical
- Develop automated test software solutions
- Provide accurate technical status to program management or direction to individual contributors
- Interface with other engineering disciplines as necessary
- Assume a full or partial lead role as circumstances dictate
- Quickly and dynamically switch focus to accommodate the daily activities of an engineering team supporting a production environment
- Diagnose and resolve to root cause measurement anomalies
Other
- BS degree and 6+ years of experience
- Cost Account management experience using earned value techniques and practices
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Active Secret clearance (preferred)
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in leading engineers on multiple projects/tasks
