Varex Imaging is looking to solve technical problems related to the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
Requirements
- Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
- Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.
- Ability to hold, grasp and manipulate small parts and use hand and power tools frequently.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle physical exertion.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
- Ability to use specialized test equipment.
Responsibilities
- Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
- Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
- Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
- May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
- Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
- May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
- Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment.

- High School Degree or equivalent
- 0 – 1 year of experience
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift/move up to 30lbs. and frequently lift more than 5lbs. to greater than 30lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, stretching, reaching, repetitive motion, or similar activities.
