Curtiss-Wright is looking for a Test Technician to support engineering activities such as dimensional testing and other assigned duties, ensuring the quality and compliance of procured components and subcomponents.
Requirements
- Ability to use electrical and mechanical test equipment to perform tasked assigned
- LAB view knowledge is desired
Responsibilities
- Using documented procedures for the acceptance testing of components procured.
- These tests may include to the usage of electro-mechanical testing equipment including but not limited to Hipots, Digital Multimeters, Durometer, Calipers, Pin Gages, Tensile Testers.
- Assist with engineering department for the collaboration for developing test methods which will be incorporated into the acceptance testing of the components.
- testing of completed components
- testing of procured subcomponents
- in process inspection
- administrative process associated with the assigned functions
Other
- 3-4 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Technical/Trade School
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Ability to work and complete tasks independently
- Display an understanding of the importance of product quality and compliance to health and safety procedures.
- This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of U.S. regulations.
