Abbott is looking to solve technical support problems in medical diagnostic instrument and/or reagent development and production
Requirements
- Experience in electronic manufacturing, laboratory, or office environments
- Ability to work in conditions requiring frequent hand/eye coordination and occasional lifting or equipment operation
- Comfortable working in environments that may include biohazard exposure
- Ability to work in an FDA regulated field that requires documentation practices associated with work quality and completion
- Technical certificate or Associate’s degree preferred
- 2–5+ years of relevant technical experience
- Basic skills in computer hardware and /or software applications such as spreadsheet creation
Responsibilities
- Applies a high level of technical support working in a specialized discipline such as electronics, life science, chemistry, mechanics, software, etc.
- Understands and uses knowledge of other disciplines
- Uses computer applications as needed for functional specialty
- Basic skills in computer hardware and /or software applications such as spreadsheet creation
- Accepts non-routine and complex assignments
- Conducts failure analysis to component level
- Conducts complex testing, analysis, and troubleshooting
Other
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in an FDA regulated field that requires documentation practices associated with work quality and completion
