Collins Aerospace in Burnsville, MN is looking for a skilled Test Technician to support critical testing and troubleshooting processes that keep their aerospace systems operating at peak performance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of electronics manufacturing experience.
- 2+ years of experience trouble shooting Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) to component level.
- Hands-on experience with test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators is required.
- 2-year electronics degree
- SAP and Team Center experience
Responsibilities
- Sets up and operates various test stands.
- Configures test equipment for special tests as needed.
- Interprets and records test results accurately.
- Recognizes and isolates test equipment failures.
- Takes electrical measurements and determines appropriate resistor values using strong math skills.
- Uses diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units down to the sub-assembly and component level.
- Reads and interprets technical data, including component maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics.

- Typically, a HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
