The Heritage Group is seeking to address business challenges by leveraging AI technologies and data analysis, and is looking for an intern to support the Strategy team in this effort.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of AI concepts, including generative AI and natural language processing.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python and familiarity with AI libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong research skills to stay updated with the latest AI trends and tools.
- Preferred 1+ years of experience with AI or machine learning projects, either through academic coursework or internships.
- Preferred Experience working with generative AI models and prompt optimization techniques.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Collect, process, and analyze data to support strategic projects and M&A activities.
- Identify AI Models: Research and evaluate generative AI models that align with the company’s business needs.
- Prompt Engineering: Design, test, and optimize prompts to interact with AI models, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Adapt Off-the-Shelf Models: Customize existing AI models to tackle specific challenges faced by different departments.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Partner with team members across departments to identify opportunities for AI solutions.
- Stay Updated on AI Trends: Track developments in the AI field to propose new tools and platforms that could benefit the organization.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree : Currently pursuing a major in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
- Preferred Master's Degree : Currently in a related field with coursework in AI and Machine Learning.
- Intern pay is non-negotiable and is calculated based on current academic class standing
