The Walt Disney Studios is seeking an AI/Data Solutions Intern to help design, develop, and prototype data-driven and AI-enabled solutions that enhance decision-making, automation, and storytelling by combining data, AI, and creativity.

Requirements

  • Foundational knowledge of data engineering, machine learning, or AI model integration.
  • Experience with SQL and Python or similar programming languages.
  • Exposure to large language models, chatbots, vector databases, and generative AI applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of AI and data solutions that drive innovation across Studio business units.
  • Assist in developing and testing prototypes leveraging machine learning, large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic architectures.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to integrate structured and unstructured data sources into analytical and AI workflows.
  • Contribute to data validation, feature engineering, and performance evaluation of AI models and applications.
  • Research and document emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices in generative AI, data engineering, and analytics.
  • Help develop demos and proof-of-concept projects to showcase the value of AI in Studio operations and storytelling.

  • Curiosity, creativity, and a passion for learning in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
