The Walt Disney Studios is looking to develop an application to manage cinematic canon for its Studio banners and stakeholders, requiring front-end programming and feature development for a knowledge graph-based application.
Requirements
- Experience using modern web libraries and frameworks (React, Tailwind,etc)
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems proactively, thoughtfully, and flexibly
- Relevant coursework or including (but not limited to) computer science, software engineering, etc.—or personal projects demonstrating skills in these areas
- Previous internship experience working on web applications or products
- Previous experience in the entertainment or technology industry
Responsibilities
- Support front-end feature development for specific features on a web application
- Leverage the specific technologies, languages, and frameworks required to build feature sets
- Participate in code reviews, QA, and troubleshooting sessions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for your code and work
- Work closely with Product team using agile (scrum, kanban) methodologies and software development lifecycle models, as well as traditional project management principles and practices
- Thoughtfully account for stakeholder requirements & feedback in all stages of development work, translating those needs into well-informed solutions and seeking clarity where needed

- The ability to collaborate effectively in a small team environment and also work well with both technical & non-technical stakeholders will be key to your success on this team.
- Work well with both technical and cross-functional team members by prioritizing open lines of communication in a collaborative environment with many different personalities
