Verizon is looking for an Incident Management Analyst Summer Intern to support their Global Event Management Center (GEMC) in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from significant events that may pose a high risk to Verizon operations and assets.
Requirements
- Majoring in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Incident Management (IM), Meteorology or related majors
- Ability to participate in our hybrid 10-week internship that takes place from June 2026 to August 2026 working a full-time schedule.
- Learning and utilizing tools, systems, and software within the ISAC (Information Sharing and Analysis Center) and GEMC.
- Leveraging AI to improve internal processes and efficiencies.
- Supporting the creation and review of ISAC reports.
- Assisting with the creation and review of Crisis Management Team Awareness Reports for event monitoring and situational awareness.
- Supporting slide deck creation/updates for GEMC.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in maintaining documented procedures and new plan development.
- Learning and utilizing tools, systems, and software within the ISAC (Information Sharing and Analysis Center) and GEMC.
- Leveraging AI to improve internal processes and efficiencies.
- Supporting the creation and review of ISAC reports.
- Assisting with the creation and review of Crisis Management Team Awareness Reports for event monitoring and situational awareness.
- Supporting slide deck creation/updates for GEMC.
- Assisting with the coordination of GEMC activations, including scheduling, preparing status reports, and conference call note-taking.
Other
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree program and be in good academic standing.
- Attendance at the Thurgood Marshall Immersion Program at Verizon in Basking Ridge.
