To ensure quality products are delivered safely by identifying and grading cured tires that do not meet the company's finished product standards
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of all General Specifications
- Technical Associates Degree or 1 year of equivalent work experience
- Ability to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations
Responsibilities
- Grading of each cured tire that does not meet the Company finished product standards
- Applying comprehensive knowledge of all General Specifications to cured tires
- Conducting in-depth analysis of uniformity throw outs (including radial, lateral, and conicity)
- Determining the disposition for the tires (first line, blemish, repair or scrap)
- Alerting Production and/or Quality departments when serious conditions are found that may have been missed by production inspectors
Other
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future
- Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations
