Requirements
- 6+ years of experience programming in backend coding languages
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Technical leader experience
- Experience building backend applications and API
Responsibilities
- Lead a growing team of 5-6 junior and senior engineers to implement and scale ML infrastructure for Waymo's core economic engine of ride-hailing commercial services.
- Create ML infrastructure for automatically training and deploying optimization and prediction ML models to make real-time decisions for pricing, matching, and positioning.
- Develop experimentation, monitoring and analysis infrastructure for analyzing ongoing deployed models.
- Build simulation infrastructure for all marketplace optimization and ML model development.
