Requirements
- Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscope, meters, etc.) and circuit simulation (SPICE).
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Python scripting tools.
- Experience with statistical analysis of production data (JMP, Tableau).
- Experience in FEA, simulation, and modeling tools (Comsol, ANSYS, Maxwell).
- Strong EE analog fundamentals with demonstrated experience in all phases of circuit design and development.
- Experience deep diving into complex technical challenges, identifying root cause hypothesis and solutions in a cross-functional and constrained environment
- Experience creating engineering design, requirement, and specification documents.
Responsibilities
- Lead the TouchID electrical engineering team in the design, development, and integration of TouchID sensors for Apple products from concept to high-volume mass production.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams in assessing technical risk, solving technical issues and defining strategy and convergence plans to meet product requirements.
- Mentor and lead a team of engineers, guiding them through the process of schematic capture, PCB design, characterization, validation, and failure analysis.
- Lead the electrical engineer team in performing coexistence, signal and power integrity, and electrical integration assessments.
