Deutsche Bank is seeking a Trader and Client Controls Project Manager to assist with a comprehensive programme focused on Transaction Monitoring (TM), ensuring the identification and mitigation of financial crime-related risks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in program or portfolio management within financial services, ideally in financial crime, compliance, or risk management
- Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating delivery risks effectively
- Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or PMP/PRINCE2
- Experience working with data analytics, machine learning, or AI tools in the context of transaction monitoring
- Exposure to global regulatory requirements and multi-jurisdictional financial crime compliance programs
- Ability to align program goals with broader organizational and regulatory objectives
- Experience with model risk management frameworks
Responsibilities
- Assist with delivery of the Americas GSA Actimize programme, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and objectives
- Maintain programme goals, scope, benefit case and success criteria, ensuring alignment with business strategies and regulatory requirements
- Track detailed benefits cases, effort estimates and provide transparent prioritization
- Aid in the development, validation, and ongoing maintenance of transaction monitoring models, ensuring compliance with model risk management frameworks
- Ensure all programme activities meet regulatory expectations, including documentation, reporting, and governance
- Liaise with internal and external model validation teams to ensure adherence to governance standards
- Align program goals with broader organizational and regulatory objectives

- Proven capability to lead and motivate diverse teams in a matrixed environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- Work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model
