Manage and deploy options and non-linear power positions in North American markets, with a particular focus on ERCOT, PJM, and the Northeast. Develop and execute non-linear risk management strategies.
Requirements
- A minimum of two (2) years of options trading experience in power managing power derivatives, analyzing market trends, and working closely with cross-functional teams such as risk, portfolio management, and structuring to support trading decisions
- You have a strong working knowledge of North American power market fundamentals
- You are proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, which is valuable for developing trading algorithms and analyzing large datasets

- Apply quantitative methods to assess and manage financial risks associated with trading activities
Other
- You hold a Bachelor's degree with coursework in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline. In lieu of a degree, we will consider five (5) years of relevant professional experience in which you gained practical knowledge of trading strategies, market dynamics, risk management techniques, and pricing methodologies specific to electricity markets
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy working three (3) days in-office and two (2) days remote
