Aspiriant is looking for a Trader-Portfolio Management to execute trades, resolve trading issues, generate reports, and respond to client requests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in their wealth management operations.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of capital markets, trading techniques (including block trade execution) and standard industry trading practices
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with Schwab, Fidelity and Pershing platforms, Salesforce, and Black Diamond Rebalancer helpful

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily trade execution and trade reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completion.
  • Execute trades in ETFs/equities, mutual funds, fixed income, thinly traded securities, and options.
  • Execute risk trades when needed.
  • Communicate and coordinate trade requests with multiple separate account managers.
  • Support subscriptions, redemptions and servicing private investments.
  • Update and maintain trading procedures and statistics.
  • Produce and maintain all SEC/Compliance reports.

Other

  • Communicating directly with custodians for any information needed to resolve trading issues
  • Responding to Advisor and Portfolio Administrator requests.
  • The Trader-Portfolio Management has a significant amount of direct Advisor and Portfolio Administrator contact.
  • The Trader-Portfolio Management is always expected to be working to ensure a positive, collaborative team environment.
  • Work well with and demonstrate respect for colleagues at all levels and consistently contribute to a positive work environment for the entire staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field
  • Minimum of three years of trading experience working in financial services and/or investment management
