Repsol is looking to solve trading compliance and regulatory issues within the Gas and Power trading business, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Requirements
- Familiar with business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau is plus
- Active student studying finance, technology, business, economics, mathematics or similar.
Responsibilities
- KYC Compliance & Counterparty Due Diligence: conduct comprehensive KYC checks and due diligence processes on counterparties to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Risk Assessment & Mitigation: analyze and evaluate counterparty risks within the Gas and Power trading business. Follow existing process to minimize financial, operational, and reputational risks.
- Internal Controls & Process Improvement: maintain, review, and enhance existing internal controls to ensure effective risk management. Continuously improve processes to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards and best practices.
- Ongoing Stakeholder Engagement: reach out to internal and external stakeholders, including counterparties, and other business units, to ensure proper due diligence and the effective resolution of any issues or concerns.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: work closely with contract administration, credit, front office, back office, and technology teams on a daily basis to ensure seamless execution of compliance protocols and risk management procedures.

- Must have cumulative and major GPA of 3.3 or higher
- Must be available for a continuous 12-week period for duration of summer internship; starting May 18th and ending on August 7th.
