Requirements
- Familiarity with transportation planning and traffic engineering principles and resources
Responsibilities
- Evaluating crash history data and verifying the accuracy of such data
- Use and create geospatial transportation data
- Create text and spreadsheet documents and manipulate data
- Perform field work, taking measurements, pictures, visually confirming transportation facility operations
- Prepare clearly organized traffic safety and engineering reports and technical memos to communicate findings and recommendations
Other
- Pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in civil engineering
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to independently perform multiple tasks and interact appropriately and positively with coworkers
- Self-motivated with attention to detail
- Team oriented with strong capability to work independently
