Carrier Global Corporation is looking to solve the problem of managing its largest product line within the Carrier Transicold truck-trailer organization, requiring a Trailer Product Manager to oversee all aspects of the trailer product and support functions.
Requirements
- 10 + years of experience in a technical environment, with demonstrated experience in product development, engineering, or technical operations
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing both short- and long-term product and component strategy initiatives
- Working with the program management team and marketing functions on new product introductions
- Managing products through their life cycle, including obsolescence strategies
- Interacting with cross functional groups (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales) to ensure initiatives meet schedule, cost and quality targets
- Analyzing and monitoring the regulatory environment and assuring product compliance
- Benchmarking competitive equipment

- Position requires a minimum of 20 to 25% travel throughout the US and to Canada
- MBA preferred
- Candidate must have a proven record of leadership, strategic thinking, and project management with a business mindset
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to professionally represent the company in both writing and in oral communications
