INTECON, LLC is seeking an experienced Training Instructor / Developer to design, develop, and deliver training for the Mobility Air Forces (MAF) Mission Planning Systems (MPS) Capability Drop-4 (CD-4) to ensure that AMC warfighters receive high-quality, role-based training materials and instruction
Requirements
- Instructional design methodologies (ADDIE or similar)
- Training development software and e-learning tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate)
- Delivering training in-person and via virtual platforms (MS Teams, ZoomGov, etc.)
- Mission planning systems or related Air Force operational software
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Learning Management Systems (LMS) and collaboration platforms (SharePoint, Teams)
- Multimedia training development tools and simulation software
Responsibilities
- Conduct training needs analyses to identify user training requirements for new mission planning software features
- Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials such as handouts, quick-reference guides, and multimedia training content
- Deliver classroom, on-site, and virtual training sessions for Air Mobility Command personnel and mission planning system users
- Update and maintain training materials to reflect the latest MPS software releases and ensure accuracy over time
- Coordinate training events, including scheduling, logistics, and participant communication
- Support the government's ability to record and reproduce training sessions and materials for future reuse
- Ensure all training content is government-owned, accurate, and compliant with standards
Other
- Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in training development and delivery for defense or complex technical systems
- Annual DoD Cyber Awareness training
- Instructor certification (e.g., CompTIA CTT+ or equivalent) strongly preferred
