The Air Force needs a Training Research Scientist to lead complex data exploration and analytics projects, introducing innovative AI and machine learning methodologies to make a real-world impact on how battle staff leaders and critical decision makers learn and train for missions.
Requirements
- Knowledge of warfighter training in the virtual environment
- Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning applications pertinent to military combat operations
- Experience with operationalizing models, containerization, data architecture, and cloud computing platforms
- Experience with direct research with DoD personnel
- Knowledge of Human Performance Research in a training environment
- Experience with data science, AI, and machine learning
- Familiarity with IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
Responsibilities
- Lead complex data exploration and analytics projects
- Operationalize models, containerization, data architecture, and cloud computing platforms
- Introduce innovative AI and machine learning methodologies
- Conduct original research based on decision making processes under a multitude of DoD mission sets

Other
- 3+ years of experience in Human Performance Research in a training environment
- Master's degree in a Human Science or Cognition field
- Secret clearance
- Ability to conduct original research
- TS/SCI clearance (nice to have)
