Stantec is looking to grow its market share in the Transit & Rail Sector (T&R) in New England, with a specific emphasis on the greater Boston market, by providing expertise in the pursuit and delivery of T&R planning and design projects.
Requirements
- Experience with the role of deputy design manager, design manager, and or quality manager on mid to large scale projects
- Experience leading the design and construction support of complex transportation projects
- Experience developing, negotiating, and managing project scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Design-Build or other alterative project delivery experience
- MA Licensed Professional Engineer in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive engineering and project management experience on mid to large scale transportation projects
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in the pursuit and delivery of T&R planning and design projects.
- Provide technical direction, manage contract risk, and assist with reviewing technical documents and project deliverables to meet the needs of a project's overall success.
- Serve as a critical technical expert and provide expertise and guidance on projects to demonstrate compliance with the latest standards and guidelines.
- Supervise and mentor planners, engineers, architects, and other technical professionals in the preparation of deliverables.
- Convening teams of technical experts to develop win themes for pursuits.
- Commitment to continuous improvement in QA/QC processes and fostering a culture of being cost effective and thorough in preparing proposals and delivering projects.
- Support our strategic growth initiatives through networking, promotion, university outreach, and the delivery of transformational projects to attract the best and brightest talent to Stantec.
