Kyowa Kirin is seeking to understand the relationship between gene and protein expression, genomic variation, and response/resistance to therapeutic interventions, ultimately improving clinical response success rates in four disease areas: bone and mineral; intractable hematologic; hematology oncology; and rare disease.
Requirements
- Experience or interest in bioinformatics, genomics, multi-omics, cancer research, and AI/ML tools for predictive modeling
- Good understanding of advanced molecular biology techniques and applications (NGS, gene expression methods/tools).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with R, Python, SAS/JMP, and other preferred computational tools.
Responsibilities
- Download, prepare datasets, and analyze omics and genetic screening data.
- Utilize bioinformatics web tools and participate in the development of genomics data analytics processes, including AI/ML-based predictive analytics.
- Participate in meetings with vendors and manage data transfer, quality control, and data reconciliation activities with vendors and CROs.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the US and Japan.
Other
- Rising junior or senior in college/university with a major in Molecular Biology, Proteomics, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, or related Biological Science degree.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts efficiently.
- Must live within a commutable distance to Princeton, NJ.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing basis without sponsorship.
