Walter P Moore is seeking to design and enhance user interfaces for their internally focused tooling websites, requiring a talented and motivated UI/UX Design Intern to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in UI/UX design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Basic understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- High level of proficiency in Git
- UI/UX boot camp certificate or some formal education for software development required
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs.
- Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and feedback.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for website interfaces using industry-standard design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback and usability testing results to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Design custom icons, illustrations, and visual assets, and develop color schemes and typography as needed
- Craft engaging infographics and storytelling elements to communicate complex information effectively, enhancing user understanding and engagement with our internally focused tools.
