Capital Technology Group (CTG) is looking to modernize and innovate how government agencies and organizations operate through cutting-edge technology solutions by hiring a UI/UX Designer to support high-impact civic tech initiatives within the federal government.
Requirements
- Proficiency in designing graphical user interfaces for client-server applications
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing user data
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI / UX design skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and project requirements
Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate design sprints, user research sessions, usability testing, and reviews
- Analyze user data to inform design decisions and improve user experience
- Create intuitive UI/UX designs, including screen layouts, wireframes, and prototypes
- Evaluate prototypes for functionality, usability, efficiency, and accuracy
- Design user experiences for web-based applications from initial concept through final implementation
- Develop workflows and interfaces that are accessible, effective, and user-centric
- Communicate design ideas through mockups of varying fidelity levels
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant UI / UX design experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
- Self-motivated, innovative, flexible, and receptive to feedback
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain Public Trust clearance
