J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. is seeking a UI/UX Designer to shape the digital experience of their customers by designing intuitive, engaging, and accessible interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience designing and implementing user interfaces for web and/or mobile applications
- Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar applications
- Experience with front-end development using HTML and CSS
- Knowledge of information architecture, storyboarding, and design processes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret user data and translate it into effective design solutions
- Participate in UI programming tasks, including coding UI components for various applications
- Assist in developing and implementing quality assurance processes related to web and mobile application design and maintenance
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research utilizing methods such as surveys, persona creation, user journey mapping, and empathy interviews to understand user needs and behaviors
- Design comprehensive user journey maps to visualize and enhance the user experience across platforms
- Analyze user testing data to identify areas for improvement, fix errors, and increase user satisfaction and conversion rates
- Establish and maintain brand standards across all UI design projects to ensure consistency and quality
- Ensure accessibility compliance by designing websites and applications that meet or exceed WCAG 2.0 AA standards
- Collaborate with the Development Architecture team to translate design requirements into technical specifications
- Create UI concepts, prototypes, and documentation for internal and external web and application projects based on business needs

- Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Business, or a related field
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associate's Degree in a technology-related field combined with two years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of collaborating with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to operate independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of solving complex UI challenges
