i3's Tactical Software and Autonomy Solutions (TSAS) team needs a UI/UX Designer to support a new web-based virtual development and simulation environment for DoD customers, leveraging a modern tech stack and AWS Gov Cloud.

Requirements

  • Candidate will develop user experiences using tools like Figma.
  • Candidate will develop and execute user review studies.
  • Candidate will create graphics, including military style logos.
  • Candidate must be familiar with good user interface design principles and be experienced with customer communication to collaboratively develop user facing web elements.
  • Experience with the Adobe creative suite including Illustrator and Figma.
  • Experience with the design and execution of customer feedback events.
  • Experience developing military style logos.

Responsibilities

  • The candidate will be responsible for interfacing with customers to design the user interface to be developed by the software team.
  • This includes user interface reviews with representative customer sets, development of mockups, and validation of end results.
  • In addition, this candidate will work with Technical Writers as a Graphic Artist to draw figures for manuals, and creating logos for use by DoD customers.
  • Candidate will develop user experiences using tools like Figma.
  • Candidate will develop and execute user review studies.
  • Candidate will create graphics, including military style logos.
  • Routine collaboration with team members in developing system capabilities is expected.

Other

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active Secret Clearance preferred. Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance prior to start.
  • Have a Bachelors degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred).
  • 3-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Candidate must be a team player and be creative, adaptive, and excited to learn.
