Zaden Technologies is looking to simplify the delivery and improve the utility of software products for their customers by designing and implementing intuitive, user-centered interfaces, particularly for data analytics, to automate a smarter future through exceptional user experiences.
Requirements
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Strong grasp of UX/UI principles: layout, hierarchy, typography, color theory, and accessibility.
- Experience designing within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, in particular Power BI for data dashboards and Powerpoint for executive level presentations
- Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first design approaches
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving and design thinking
Responsibilities
- Design and prototype user interfaces to meet business needs.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create visually compelling Power BI dashboards to support decision making
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using industry-standard tools such as Figma or Adobe XD
- Integrate solutions into the Microsoft 365 ecosystem to align with platform capabilities.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products
- Optimize user workflows for defense and space systems applications
Other
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree required (master’s preferred) in graphic design, human- computer interaction (HCI), digital media, computer science, or a related field.
- 4 years (or 2 years with Master’s) of experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on Microsoft 365 tools such as Power Apps, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to commute to San Antonio, TX (highly desirable)
