ManTech seeks a UI/UX Front End Developer to join our team in Ashburn, Virginia to build officer-centric apps and tools for CBP Officers
Requirements
- Knowledge of coding with UI coding languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, AJAX)
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, ReactJS, JQuery)
- Experience with Agile iterative software development methodology, processes and practices
- Familiar with Security DevOps and CI/CD
- Experience working with cloud applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS EC2, RDS, S3)
- Understanding of U.S. Digital Service Playbook concepts and Draft U.S. Web Design Standards
- Experience with agile lifecycle management and engineering tools (e.g., Atlassian Jira, Confluence)
Responsibilities
- Experience with design software, wireframe tools, and user journey maps
- Ability to quickly prototype solutions leveraging usability principles
- Building/developing user interfaces and rich client browser applications using software design patterns
- Observing user behavior to improve the visual design and flow of analytic applications
- Performing user research (i.e. target users/personas) and user testing (e.g., wireframes, prototypes)
- Collaborating with product owners, scrum masters, project managers and other application engineers to gather, evaluate and implement solutions that support user requirements/needs
- Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, Figma, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite

- Bachelor's degree (Permitted experience exchange: High School and 6 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree)
- Must have an Active Public Trust Clearance or be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
- Must be a US Citizen
- CBP BI Preferred
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
