ManTech seeks a UI/UX Front End Developer to build officer-centric apps and tools for CBP Officers, improving the visual design and flow of analytic applications by observing user behavior and performing user research and testing.
Requirements
- Sketch, InVision, Visio, Figma, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of coding with UI coding languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, AJAX)
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, ReactJS, JQuery)
- Experience with Agile iterative software development methodology, processes and practices
- Familiar with Security DevOps and CI/CD
- Experience working with cloud applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS EC2, RDS, S3)
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping
Responsibilities
- Experience with design software, wireframe tools, and user journey maps,
- Ability to quickly prototype solutions leveraging usability principles
- Building/developing user interfaces and rich client browser applications using software design patterns
- Understanding the needs of CBP Officers to build officer-centric apps and tools
- Observing user behavior to improve the visual design and flow of analytic applications
- Performing user research (i.e. target users/personas) and user testing (e.g., wireframes, prototypes)
- Collaborating with product owners, scrum masters, project managers and other application engineers to gather, evaluate and implement solutions that support user requirements/needs

- This is a hybrid position.
- Must have an Active Public Trust Clearance or be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
