Requirements
- Proficient computer skills including use of Microsoft Office/Excel
- Insurance or financial analysis coursework
- Knowledge of Risk Management, Insurance, or Business principles

Responsibilities
- Develop knowledge about corporate insurance functions and the specialty marketplace
- Work closely with experienced Specialty Surety Underwriters and individual contributors on the specialty Surety team
- Assist professionals with day-to-day job assignments and special projects
- Perform some of the work of entry-level underwriters
- Develop skills necessary for success in underwriting
- Work on projects with competing priorities
- Analyze data and information to support underwriting decisions
Other
- Must be working towards a Risk Management, Insurance, or Business focused degree (graduating in 2025 or 2026)
- Effectively build and maintain relationships with staff at all levels of the organization as well as with our broker clients
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel for business purposes
- Outstanding organization and time management skills
