The Union Mobile Engineer - Electrician at JLL is responsible for performing skilled electrical work, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading electrical infrastructure to ensure a safe and reliable operation.
Requirements
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled electrical work including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.
- Respond to service calls and emergency situations, diagnosing electrical problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including daily logs, time sheets, and work orders.
- Coordinate with teams and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of work.
- Verify accuracy and integrity of electrical-related data and documentation, ensuring appropriate controls and reporting mechanisms are in place.

- Completion of an apprenticeship program and relevant certifications are preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of real estate or property management industry is a plus.
- This is a position attached to the Collective Bargaining Agreement between JLL and the International Union of Operating Engineers – Local 39.
