UPS Global Finance is looking for interns to help inform strategic decision-making and evaluate company performance by combining knowledge of finance, accounting, operations, and data analytics. The role will assist with researching data, analyzing projects, and preparing presentations and reports based on findings, with a focus on reducing costs through improved processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, outlook, Power Bi)
- Describes basic technological concepts and terminology; applies standard technology in daily work
- Database Administration, Data Modeling, Data design, Documentation
- Sufficient and effective knowledge and experience in programming and algorithms - Preferred
- Experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) - Preferred
Responsibilities
- Manipulates data, develops analytical models and data visualizations to drive analytic insights
- Presents data insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Interacts with cross-functional teams and assists with various projects as needed

- Rising college junior or senior or recent graduate within the last 24 months pursuing a degree in Engineering, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Hybrid position; must be located or willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
