UPS is looking to hire students for paid summer internships in various IT roles to help them launch their careers and contribute to projects within the UPS Technology Group.
Requirements
- Familiar with at least three of the technical skills listed in any of the categories below:
- Programming Languages: Java, Python, C++, .NET, C, JavaScript, SQL
- Operating Systems: Linux/Unix, Windows Server
- Platforms/Frameworks: Agile Methodology, Cloud Technology (Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes), ASP.NET, Spring Framework, Angular
- Data Systems: Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, Oracle Database
- Networking/Infrastructure: LAN/WAN Networking, Cisco IOS/NX-OS
- Tools & Technologies: ServiceNow, Ansible, PowerShell, Qualys, Visual Studio
Responsibilities
- Contribute to projects within your assigned product team
- Apply and develop technical and soft skills through hands-on experience.
- Collaborate with team members and mentors to achieve project goals.
Other
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within the last 24 months) from a degreed program in Computer Science or a related field.
- This role is hybrid and based out of our Louisville office (Louisville, KY). You must live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate for the duration of the internship.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week during the summer months (Monday - Friday, June - August).
