UPS is looking to hire students for summer internships in various IT roles to contribute to projects within their product teams and develop their technical and soft skills.
Requirements
- Familiar with at least three of the technical skills listed in any of the categories below:
- Programming Languages: Java, Python, C++, .NET, C, JavaScript, SQL
- Operating Systems: Linux/Unix, Windows Server
- Platforms/Frameworks: Agile Methodology, Cloud Technology (Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes), ASP.NET, Spring Framework, Angular
- Data Systems: Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, Oracle Database
- Networking/Infrastructure: LAN/WAN Networking, Cisco IOS/NX-OS
- Tools & Technologies: ServiceNow, Ansible, PowerShell, Qualys, Visual Studio
Responsibilities
- Contribute to projects within your assigned product team
- Apply and develop technical and soft skills through hands-on experience.
- Collaborate with team members and mentors to achieve project goals.
Other

- Availability to work 40 hours per week during the summer months (Monday - Friday, June - August).
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within the last 24 months) from a degreed program in Computer Science or a related field.
- This role is hybrid and based out of our Maryland office (Timonium, MD). You must live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate for the duration of the internship.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
